I bought my boyfriend a 12 inch sub for his birthday, got a built in amp and all the wires. But He doesnt think it will be compatible with the standard corsa stereo at the moment. So I'm wondering if he's wrong ?

I think its unlikely, how old is the car or what model stereo is it ?

Its not plug and play, as its unlikely the Corsa stereo will have line outs to connect it too.

However, if you need to connect the amp to RCA leads from the stereo, you can use a line out converter, which basically patches into the rear speaker wires behind the stereo, and provides you with a RCA output, you can use to feed an amp (or several amps) with the sound to drive them.

Knowing what year (whether its the old Corsa or new shape, or even newer one!) and also what the stereo model number is will help, as we can let you know exactly how to connect it.

Also, we need to know what imputs the amp has as well, so we can recommend the best solution to connect it to your stereo.
