And that's too bad.
The misses finds it a pain to drive ( steering is heavy, and braking as well )
There is also an oil leak at the N/S Driveshaft.

She wanted to soo if she could drive the Vectra, and she loved it...
So I guess I have to SORN the Renault 5 ( will be a project for me I guess ) and find her a Vectra...
So, if someone knows something

she realy liked driving it...

She is not getting the Vec, no way, if she wants one, she can buy her own!!

BTW, great that she said whist driving "ooh I love the power in this thing "

I guess I have to get a Vec, and put a 1.0 Corsa engine in it...

Just get a really early 1.6 and she'll soon change her mind!

I couldn't own anything less than a 2.2/V6 in a Vectra, because to me personally, everything else is too under-powered.

That said, I won't be owning another Vectra (at least I don't think I will) as after having owned 7 of them, I'd like to move onto the challenge of something else. There is very little I haven't done to them, and to be honest having another one would just be a repeat of every other time.

I was looking at Omega's, but the insurance is silly, so I'm now going to settle for an Astra estate. I just need to find a decent Mk4 in my price range now, and then I have something new to play around with.

Its a relative unknown to me. Sure Vauxhalls are all similar, but the wiring, and interior features etc will require new thought, and new research, and I like the unknown.

I'm quite looking forward to it. First mod is to fit the full trip computer, as I doubt very much that the next Astra I get will have it. Should keep me busy and out of trouble! haha!
