oh and just so u know to remove the rack you have to remove the engine subframe not a easy task

Its really not that bad. You need to support the engine from its lifting points, or support the subframe, and then remove the bolts and lower it slightly.

I don't remember dropping the subframe the last time I did a rack, but it was a very long time ago, and to be honest I'm really not sure about it.

I'll consult TIS and let you know.

Bad news, Matt is right, I'm wrong. The subframe needs removing according to TIS.

I personally dont remember doing it, but the last time I did do it was a long time ago.

the rack is attached to the subframe not the bulk head looked at some pics from neils engine was out but the next thing is have you checked the subframe mounts to see if there lose this can move if not tightend properly and the mounts have a rubber vibration mount on them that can wear

just put it on the ramps to tighten the mounts ,passengers side is tight but the drivers side the nut just keeps turning and wont tighten i cant even get the nut off the thread it seems like the whole things turning nut and bolt, what do u think wrong thanks for the above info everyone.
