Do you mean Gunk engine lacquer? I've got a tin of that in the garage but not got around to using it on this car yet. I must admit, I used it on my old Vec's plenums after painting, and it did add some rather nifty protection!

Leeky- I did say I'd detail your car for you, but I'll need it for 2 days,so if you want to drop it off sometime feel free.

My car does need serviced still.. hint hint.. Although I have been doing bit by bit lol. Air filter and cabin filter done.. just plugs, oil, oil filter, fuel filter to do, but as you know- it's a 2-day job as I want to paint the plenums whilst they're off lol.

Hi mikey all I used was gunk engine degreaser and engine lacquer got both from halfords. I had the engine running as I put the gunk on then used a pressure washer to clean it off before I put the engine lacquer on.

Just for info I did used to be a car valeter lol
