Erm, so, I have a budget of 1k, to get myself another toy.

I really don't know what to get to be honest. I'd prefer something 3dr, Astra sized, or a 3dr coupe, or a saloon 4 door.

Engine wise, it must be a petrol turbo, or a V6 petrol. What to get! lol.

I like the idea of a 2.2 Astra SRi 3dr or coupe.... Too much money!

I've been looking at Mivec FTO's, V6 Vectra's, 2.2 Astra's, coupe Astra's, and I just don't see anything that stands out in my price range.

So I'm opening the hunt out to my fellow members.

So I don't mind it if its not a Vauxhall, but....

It must follow the above, and be taxed and MOT'd and working without major rust issues. lol.

Ideas??!? pmsl.

I'm really not sure I want another for now dude....

.... I'm going to wait now, and the next Vectra I purchase will be a sorted ST200 again. But running etc and not for a couple of years as I can't afford the house as well, and its just stupid keeping it on the drive like a huge, heavy, rusting paperweight. lol.

Least I can say I owned a ST200, and drove it!

Personally, after owning a few Vectras- Even upto £3k- I can't think of any other car that offers as much as the Vecs do.

I've found a 53reg Astra SRi 2.2 3dr which is just what I want... Very, very cheap as it requires engine attention. It could be just what I want and should be sortable in my budget with a few extra pennies.

I'm just waiting on some high def pics of the interior and exterior and a more detailed description. The price is perfect (given the fault!).

Fingers crossed its mint besides the engine issue.

If it works out to plan, I should be able to get it on sunday/monday.

I'm not gonna bother replacing it now. I'm gonna use some of th emoney on the Saab and try and find a Sport Saloon leather aero interior.

Needle in a haystack springs to mind!
