Love the car to bits, but there's a few reasons for getting rid of it.

• I need to free up some cash at the moment.
• It's sluggish unless you give it some stick (Past 3k revs when the turbo kicks in & it goes like stink). However the fuel economy is then non-existent.
• It's a totally different drive from what I'm used to, having owned the Vectra for so long. I liked it, and want it back.
• I'm sick of every boy racer I see trying to race me.

So.. I'm hoping to swap it for a Vectra V6, with cash my way.

If I get the job I'm going for next week, it will mean quite a bit of commuting to & from work, and the Vectra V6's as I know, are very good on longer journeys (fuel-wise).

The logbook arrived for the Golf today, so I'm nearly all set to get her up for sale.

But before I do- Expect a 'Whats it worth' thread from me, as I have no idea what to put it up for.

Shame really as I'd love to keep it, and get it re-mapped.. that'd probably make me want to hold onto it... but I just can't afford to get it done at the moment.

But it wouldnt be very useable until the bodywork/cambelt was done. lol.

Nope.. I need to free up some cash, and get a use-able Vectra (Facelift)- nothing special needed tbh.

Thinking a V6 CDX, V6, or a GSI.

I'm ideally looking for a Vectra as a swap, with cash my way mate.

I can't really be without a car as need it for work.

However if it comes to it I may well need to go without a car for a few days, and sell mine, then buy another one.
