Well today was the start of a mas of a list of things to do, 1 was to get the F28 Hooked up, as you can see i managed it and looking forwaed to getting it back in the car,

Tomorrow i will be doing the piper cams and new timing etc, along with the rest of the list i need to get done..... enjoy










Also do the ARB bushes changed them for the powerflex while it was all out made it easyer

Did you just disconnect everything from the engine then drop it out from underneath? Did you need to un-bolt the gearbox from the engine before removing?

Not that I've ever attempt this on a V6, but it's interesting

Ripped all this crap out as well, and took the rad of so hopefully better cooling and better for the engine now.

Just disconnet everything from the top that you can see really tom, undo the stearing knuckle from in the car and tame the downpipes ok, and a few other thing, i leave the gearbox connected Tom easyer to remove the whole lump in one,
Started it at 12 and had the engine out with new box on come 5 lol,

Tomorrow will be stripping the cams out for the new piper ones and doing the timing, give a few things a spray over with some silver and then it is all magic

I clap my hands and it jumps back into the car

Few reason really since i did the 3ltr conversion about 3 yrs agon i never regassed it up and our summers are never,

So by removing it, it just frees the engine up a little by removing the pump, and the AC rad covers the main engine rad,
so buy rempoving that as well i will have direct air flow to the engine rad, hence reducing the running temp,

Why VX ever did this i do not know
