So got to the scrappys for 9am this morning with me mate, as I wanted some bits, and he wanted some FTO bits again.

Walked away with a Omega elite auto dimming rear view mirror for a fiver, with the loom as well.

Oh and also got the cruise control module, and associated cables as well for £20.

So not a bad trip for £25 spent. Just need the cruise control stalk from Tom now, and possibly a cable or two for my V6, and it can be fitted. I'll tackle the fitting and wiring in of the auto dim rear view mirror at some point as well...

Though I'm slightly gutted, as one vec had the headlamp washer I needed, but it broke removing it!!!

I very nearly had a 3.0 Omega engine and dual ram plenums as well! But wasnt prepared to pay £250 when he sold a 2.5 vec engine for £50 on friday.

i know how u feel mate after i smashed mine i STILL cant get a hold of washer jets for a decent price, looks daft the xenons sittin there and the holes in the bumper...and no bloody jets !!

I'm going to get the bodyshop to fill the holes when I get the bumper re-sprayed - I cant be arsed with worrying about it anymore. lol.

They were... The drivers side washer jet had an incident involving Donna's parents and their trailer.... Unfortunately it didnt win, and smashed to pieces.. The trailer has also damaged a few other places on the car, but is fixable and hardly noticeable... Thankfully it hasnt had its respray yet otherwise I'd be fumming!! Well I wasnt happy anyway! LOL.

The autodim mirror is just two wires... an ignition live, and an earth... Obviously its more to wire in the extra features though.
