Can someone just confirm that the cable cruise control as fitted to prefacelift models is the same for 2.0 and V6s? Its been so long since I last did it I really cant remember!

Its just the throttle cable thats different isnt it?

Also, if removing it from a car, exactly what parts do I need?? The would be donor car is a 2.0, mines a V6.

from what I have read in the last year- I'm sure it's only the cable that is different on the V6 (It's longer).

Here's what you need, as well as the cable:



The stalk- You have but you'd need to come take it off as I can't drive the car just now since it's SORN.

You thinking of electronic cruise control, that just requires the 2 pin clutch switch (if manual), and the cruise stalk.

I think for cable cruise for 2.0/2.5 models you need the following:

twin throttle cable bracket with cable to Cruise control unit
Cruise control unit below ABS unit
4 pin brake switch
2 pin clutch switch
cruise enabled stalk

I just want to make sure I get everything if I decide to go ahead and fit it... Its been so long since I did it I really cant remember now.
