I dont really see how it would be so difficult to setup to be honest. Just choose the ride height half way down, make sure both fronts are the same before you fit them, and the same with the rears. Then once its on the car, adjust it as you need too.
It doesnt matter if its too high once fitted. What you want is to make sure its level left to right. If you set it up so it is level off the car before fitting, all you do is exactly the same on each side as you adjust.
If your worried you wont get it the same, mark the entire thread with paint or something, and then a blob on the ring, and one full turn will be when the blob on the adjust ring meets the line from top to bottom of the shocks thread.
Easy peasy.
