Default Fitted new induction pipe but screwed the grill up

As you can see the lover airbox was a mess and had seen better days so got a new lower airbox and pipe as you can see,
Now i went to do a hole through the lower grill and drilled right inline with the oil pipes from the lover rad so the pipe would not come through so drilled the 3" hole more to the right lol, Now i have to do this with the pipe to hide the dam mess,

However, it dont look to bad really looking at it what to you think lol

Before

After

Are you going to fit a trumpet on the end of it once you get a new grill?

If not.. what about fitting a 90 degree polished alloy pipe on the end of it instead of having that hose showing? I think that'd actually look pretty cool.

Good job with it though Neil.. apart from the bit you've bodged of course lol

I like the look of that, and reckon a red alloy 90 degree outlet would look awesome!

I especially like what looks like a SP3 parked next to your car!! If I'm not mistaken, those are the skirts and looks of a Alfa Romeo 156 SP model.

Bargain!

Was it just a bit he had laying around or does he sell them all the time?

Could be doing with about 3 meters of this!

As for shopping a pipe on there.. tricky one tbh mate.. yes it would just look like an intercooler pipe.

Winter's coming, and having the feed facing to the side is probably a great idea, to stop the snow being forced into it when that snow plough bumper starts shoveling up snow in the coming months

one he had laying about Tom he was looking for £15 for t on ebay but the bids did not get to that and i was highest bidder lol
As Lee said a nice 90d pipe in red might look good down there or i could cut a box port in half and fiber glass a nice scoop to it perfect in the hole....

My old one....

When I come across these pics, it makes me want to have another one... Was an absolutely awesome car! I must have linked them on here before, they were in photobucket already... But I aint appologising for the repost, cos I love it!!!

If the 156 was big enough I'd go for a estate version without question... But its worth inside than the 9-3 for rear room!

That air pipe would indeed look awesome with a red 90 degree I reckon.

Check out the discounts section: I swear I saw some today whilst butchering through the website link. Its the Regals one.

Alfa Romeo red... Its about as Italian and red as you can get... Besides Ferrari's red.
