I'm not sure, but Donna said they are Compomotive MO's, not Speedlines as they never did the Minstrals in 18s. So we'd have unique Speedline Minstal'esque alloy wheels.
Looks mean in silver with black bodywork though eh!!
Yeh... but tbh I think if I end up doing this I'd rather get them to make some facelift GSI rims, obviously in white, 19"
Huskies look the dogs... and I think if I was going to get something different, it's probably be what he's got.

Don't they do comp mo's in 19"?
Yes, I think they already do them in 19" applications, but the look may not be what Husky's are.
You could get whatever you like - 2 orders would still be better than one I reckon. I think I'd be jus as happy with GSi rims if they were custom made.

One thing that's got me thinking... if I'm going to get these custom made... what about if they can hide the wheel nuts behind a centre cap kind-a-thing?
I say this, as when removing wheel nuts from my car, the wheel brace flexes, and chips the paint away from the edge of the holes (where the wheel bolts go). If they were hidden behind a center cap, I think not only would they look better, but if the above happens- the chips are not in sight.

What do you think?
I know exactly what you mean... kinda ST specification, but obviously much bigger... the question is, would you be happy with that design, as you also need to bare in mind you need to design the caps as well, and then get the locks made... if you used ST caps and locks, then you could literally just hand them one and then ask them to design it to the specification you (we) want, to fit the caps I have already. You'll be able to get hold of another set I'm sure.
Another option is to find some centre caps you like, and get them incorporated into the design you choose.
Its custom, so its doable full stop.. But the question is now much difference will it make to pricing..
Also, I'll measure up the centre bores of my spare alloys in the morning - If they fit over the hub (gen Vec wheels) then we need the same bore to achieve it again.

Great idea Lee, but maybe ST center caps is the wrong way to go about it.
Think about it- Who's going to want to sell ONLY the center caps, from their ST alloys?
I think the caps would become a bit hard to source IMHO. Can you think of any other decent-looking caps, that maybe easier to source?
BTW- What is the 'bore'? Where are you getting this measurement from?
It was an example really, a bad one, suggesting ST ones, but i have a full set and it made sense... I'm sure there are plenty of designs available, but its a question of getting them seperately, which could be just as hard!
The bore is the central hole in the alloy wheel, that the hubs leading face fits into... Most aftermarket alloys require spigots to fit between the alloy and the hub to ensure a good fit... The wheels must fit the hub face without play, otherwise you cannot bolt the wheels down true and it will cause wheel vibration issues.
If you use say the measurement of GSi or ST rims bore measurement, you can ensure it remains the same so it can be fitted without spigots, which in time can break... Hope that helps.
I'll have a good look in the next day or two about various wheel centre cap designs... There is the possibility to get the designers to actually produce these to our designs.. This might be the most sensible solution, leaving us to decide how we want them... But we do need to check they can do this first! Otherwise we could just be wasting time over something that isnt even a possibility.
