Default Changing dash lights to blue

Hi this is my first post so not sure if its the right place to put it but here goes,

Im thinking of changing the the dials to plasma dial and wondered how hard it was to do?

Im also going to change the middle digital display to blue while the dash is out, how hard is it to take the dash out and where do you start?

Any advice would be great

Thanks

Theres a couple of ways of doing it, but start off by taking the vents out, being caerfull not to break them...use a flatblade..two in the center and the one above the headlight switch

Take off the steering wheel shroud, phillips screws x2 turning steering wheel lock to lock to get at them, you just need the top bit off..

With the vents out, you'll see the screws exposed take them out (phillips) one in the middle, one above the headllight switch and two holding the plastic at the bottom where the shroud was, may have to go looking though between wires..recommend a longer phillips for this, magnetic if you can because if you drop it, means more dismantling..lol

After youve done this the plastic should be loose, remove them, and you'll be left with the clocks in place, there should be two screws holding this in place, one on either side, undo these (phillips again) and clocks will now be loose. unplug the mid fom the back bring the ckocks forward and carefully slide out to the left...jobs a good-un. Fitment is reverse of removal..lol

For led fitment, they will only work one way so may have to try a couple of times to get them right, but if the led dont work, turn them 180 degrees and try again..
