 Well the C20LET Donor car is here - with pics!
As per title, Matt had the C20LET donor dropped off earlier! I've also done my first mod.. A VVON window sticker!  Proper chuffed now as I can get on with the conversion as of tomorrow.  Pics below, 2 white Vecs, one a ST side by side!     God, I'm so looking forward to LET power in the Supertouring, and the massive project work starts in full swing tomorrow. Outside will remain the same, but I am planning on a few updates like facelifting the rear, and replacing some of the strips, the sideskirts are also being replaced, as the Supertouring ones are damaged. Then I'll be removing the LET from the vectra, ready to clean and paint it, then fit the new headgasket and bolts. There's a lot of work ahead, and the aim is to have it (almost) completely finished by Billing 2010. Bring it on!! The overal plan is to basically make it as new again, but with tweeks (like under the bonnet) and inside, to make it my idea of what a Supertouring should have been like, had designers and engineers built the cars, not accountants!        |

Nice 1 Lee, and congrats Matt on getting it gone.. took your time Glad to see this car's gone to good use, and the end of this project should be a very happy one. Good luck with this Lee. @Neil... He did take his time! But I'm glad he did or I'd never had the opportunity to get his car!! The project I'm hoping will end up perfectly, and will be a car I can enjoy (and throw buckets of money at!!!) for years to come. As I previously said, this car is for keeps! Fingers crossed everything goes to plan and it turns out like I hope! |

Yep I kinda got bored strippin it and lee is a mate from way back so I thought why not!! I doubt I will own a vec! Ever again, currently lookin at importing a 2002 scoob sti in white
