Default My bonnet bulge

Well... not really a bulge... more of a dent.

Went to Hunstanton last weekend with the Mrs, her sis and her boyfriend Craig (My mate)..

On the way there, I was following a 4x4 up a single carriageway for about 3 miles doing roughly 60(ish)... get to the end of it, onto the roundabout, sitting about 2 car lengths behind this 4x4, and a wheel appears in the road, rolling off in front of me.. looked at the 4x4 in front, and the front was lop-sided lol.. was amusing tbh.. but anyway, he quickly pulled over, and me being me, and being part of a convoy, never stopped (The guy stopped and got straight out so was fine anyway.

But it wasn't until I actually arrived at my destination that I noticed this!!!

I'm pretty damn sure that idiots wheel nut hit my bonnet when the wheel fell off.

GUTTED is not thew word, having only got the car back from the bodyshop just over a month ago

Although it gives me an excuse to hurry up getting the Evo vents (The small carbon fiber ones) in the bonnet and a front extension

Yeh it could have been worse... luckily it happened on the roundabout and we were prob doing 15-20mph.. if it happened minutes before, going down that 60 limit road.. could have got very messy.

Just a shame it's ruined my perfectly shiny and un-bent bonnet

Yeah you were lucky then! Could it not just be filled and then blasted over? Or popped out by dent devils?

No as it's pearly paint

When I got my bonnet done just over a month ago, they had to also do the tops of the wings, so it all blended in properly.

Nice paint... bitch to keep clean, and expensive to get things painted with it as it's not just any old paint.. it's pearl.

Damn car lol.

The joys of motoring hey!

I feel your pain m8, that sucks bigtime! Might be worth getting another bonnet for the vents, getting that sprayed up and throwing the existing bonnet on for them gritty winter days m8.
