depending on the year of car it will range from 10.9 to 12.8 hours at 30 to 50 pounds an hour labour charge

Depends on WHO the garage is

i.e

Vauxhall will ALWAYS charge more than a back lane garage.

Best bet is to phone round and see what sort of hourly rate they charge in your area

I done my 2003 Y20DTH. 2 days in total and not a clue what i was doing!
Took it out the top.
Bonnet off
All Covers, tubes, Wires, Manifold and starter off (label on every pipe where it went lol
Gearbox still on but dissconnected the drive shafts. Wheels off calipers off and dissconnected from the Wishbone.
Got tricky with the pump but 6mm pin to hold the timing and hey presto.

got to be an easy 400 quid and then no guarantee it will run if customer supplies their own engine
