Default How do you drain fuel from fuel tank of a 1992 Vauxhall Astra?

I accidently put diesel in the petrol tank.

Oh dear!

The easiest way would be to syphone it out.. Or you could remove the bottle hose (from the filler neck ) and it might empty that way.

Personally I'd just get a length of hose (with a decent internal diameter!), feed it through the filler neck down into the tank and then syphone it out into a big container or something.
